I
I am currently hosting a radio show on WRBH in New Orleans (88.3 FM WRBH.org) called Writer's Forum in which I interview authors about their books and the writing process. In July 2021 I interviewed Gary Gautier about his book Hippies. Other interviews have included Chris Thomas King and his book, The Blues, Juyanne James and her book Table Scraps, Elizabeth Miki Brina about her book Speak, Okinawa, Andrea Panzeca about her poetry, Jim Lambert about his book of short stories entitled Sub Rosa and Robert Fieseler about his book Tinderbox. More interviews are being scheduled with Laura Helen Marks about her book Alice in Pornoland. Kent Krueger will be discussing This Tender Land and Richard Rhodes will discuss his new book on E.O. Wilson. All interviews are on the station's website. Go to schedules and then to podcasts to find them.
In December, 2019 I read the first chapter of my book, Chasing Charles Bukowski, on WRBH's Writers' program. It is archived on their website.https://soundcloud.com/wrbhreadingradio/figure-of-speech-michael-tusa-jr
